When a giant mutated octopus wreaks havoc in Seattle, the FBI calls in a special taskforce: Harmony and Melody Quinn. These gifted twins may have adorable matching names, but they are not cutesy. Harmony’s magic Worder ability comes with a curse—she can’t remember names, dates, directions, or what she ate for breakfast. Knife-throwing Melody will do whatever it takes to protect her flakey Worder sister. Combined, the are an FBI asset, tailor-made for assignments that require an unorthodox approach…like finding the scientist who created the monster.
Not everyone at the Agency is happy with the Quinns’ involvement. A long-harbored grudge against the Quinns threatens to shut down the entire division. A bloody package at their doorstep suggests this time, the case is personal. The twins must figure out how genetic experiments, Harmony’s Worder abilities, and a former mission all intersect before the villain amasses the final item to unleash his plan: Harmony’s brain.
